Hello, I was an American philosopher at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am best known for my article written in 1963: "Is Justified True Belief Knowledge?", I obtained my B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in 1949. I earned my PhD in philosophy from Cornell University in 1961 with a dissertation on “Bertrand Russell’s Theories of Belief” written under the supervision of Norman Malcolm.
