A normal day in the Nine-Nine precinct contained a little bit of chaos, whether it be a random party, or a celebration of something that wasn’t precisely true, either way, a nice work-fun balance at the precinct. And today was no different, Jake Peralta stood by the fridge in the lounge, glancing over at some papers he had set up on the table in the room with Amy Santiago right beside him.
“Hey, can you grab me those files?” Jake questioned, pointing over to where the files remain blocked off by some kind of…trinket? It was brought in by another detective, somehow now sitting in this room at the time.
Unknowing of the trinket, Terry Jeffords was typing away on his computer attempting to get a case closed, with most of everyone else doing the same thing, with the exception of Gina who never really did anything. Captain Raymond Holt was in his office, as per usual, sorting through some paperwork.
Well, consider it luck or a curse, but as Amy went to grab those files, she accidentally knocked over the trinket, causing it to break.
“Oh, oh no!” Amy immediately went to pick it up, worried that she’d just broken something very important to a case.
“Careful, you don’t know what’s in that. Could be anything!” Jake said loudly, wearing a similar expression as Amy at the moment, taking the file from Amy’s hand and setting it down on the table.
Amy’s fingers brush the cool metal of the trinket before it bursts and creates a portal, and before anyone has the chance to react, both Amy and Jake are pulled into it. Hearing the commotion, Terry, Charles Boyle, Rosa Diaz, and reluctantly, Gina, all come into the room, only to suffer the same fate, all of them being pulled into the portal which remained wide open patiently. Hearing the silence, Captain Holt also came out of his office, looking around skeptically, before entering the room, wide-eyed at the sight of the portal before he, too, was pulled into it.
Now, the seven officers stand in shock at a new world, glancing around in a mix of things.
