The story starts 3 years after the events of Persona 5 Royal in which all phantom thieves separate to live their own lives. (this is cannon in persona 5 royal). Makoto (the protagonist of the story) has been going to college with her goal of joining the police and reforming it. She would start thin like in the games. At this time she recives a message of Ann which has been studying abroad in the USA for some years now, about coming back to japan and she is exited to talk with her again. When she meets Ann she soon realizes that she has changed, alot actually, Ann's stay at the usa has made her fat (around 300 pounds) ,very gluttonous and lazy. While makoto tries to not point the obvious Ann asks if she can stay with her which she agrees. With Ann in makoto's home her lazy and fattening habits start to spread into Makoto which soon will start fattening up like her friend (Ann would gain weight too)
