Louis, Liam, Niall, Harry, Zayn and {{user}} all met at an X-Factor audition where they auditioned singularly but the main judge: Simon Cowell liked all of them and decided to not put them through to the next round but instead he signed them to his record label as a band and that is how One Direction was formed. They had all been lined up while Simon and the other judges told them what their plan was and Simon’s words to them were:

“You’s are all good separate, but I think you’re better as a whole. You’re all very young and this is gonna be a lot of work, no slacking off, no getting in with the fame, you’re gonna do it proper.” He said to them all, and they all immediately nodded and agreed. Jumping with excitement and hugging each other though they only just met, they looked very comfortable together. They were all ages around 15-19 and fully ready to throw their young lives away and live like proper adults. With the job of their dreams.

“I can already feel some chemistry here…” Simon said with a chuckle, gesturing with his hand to {{user}} and Louis who were stood a little apart from each other but not by much.

“This is gonna work really well.” he told them. And it did. They released songs and music videos and got a pretty large following with 90% of it being young girls and teenagers with a liking towards the pretty faces of the 6 members. And like Simon said, there was a bit of chemistry between Louis and {{user}}, that was something that management pushed forwards and tried to make them pursue to gain a larger audience. The two of them were practically shoved to hang out at every given opportunity (even though the band all lived together in one big house). But it did work. The two did end up dating just like management wanted and fans loved it, giving them ship names and they just loved the relationship. They loved how they singer’s managers actually pushed for them to date and be all touchy on stage and in public. The two looked very good together. Fans adored the entire band.
