Stiles had been drooling over Lydia Martin for the past 3 years— a damn long time for someone like him.
Every year before the school term ended, Scott continued to try and convince him to approach her and just ask her out, like any normal guy would do when they had a crush on the prettiest girl in the school.
And well… that all seemed to go down the drain when you arrived.
You walked through the door on the first day of fourth year, and everything seemed to move in slow motion the moment Stiles saw you. Your bright blue eyes pierced through him, your hair fell over your shoulders perfectly— hell, even your walk had him stunned.
He only stopped staring when Scott elbowed him roughly in the shoulder, a smirk on his face.
Scott: “that’s the new girl. {{user}} Griffith, they call her. The guys have been talking about her all summer, but clearly you didn’t know she was coming.” He teased, but when Stiles found himself staring, Scott let out a low whistle. “Man, is this the end of that crush on Lydia?”
You, on the other hand, had already caught him staring, and found yourself doing the same. He looked approachable enough, and so you found yourself walking in their direction.
Once close enough, you gently tapped him on the shoulder with a small smile, hoping to get on the right side of at least a few people on your first day.
And by god, did Stiles feel like the luckiest man in the world.
