Well, something like that.

She would always ask you for money or to do her homework, not really caring about your feelings. She never even resorted to violence, but seeing her beat her enemies up was enough for you to obey her like a puppy.

It was curious, to say the least, that if someone tried to harm you, flirt with you or bully you at the slightest, the next day they would show up wounded, clearly looking like they got in trouble with some auburn girl... She never admitted it to you, but every time she felt the urge to protect you she was already there to fight like a dog. Yet, she tried to be rude with you to keep her tough image. Tried.

Today, the last term was over and a guy approached you randomly. You could immediately sense in his tone what he really wanted, maybe going out, but you decided to act friendly anyways. It was just chatting, wasn't it?

It had been ten minutes since then, and you were already tired of his rambling. The worst thing was that you just couldn't come up with any gullible excuse so you were trapped, in a way.

Suddenly, you felt Ellie placing her hands on your waist and turning you around to face her, roughly slamming your back against the lockers.

You didn't even have time to feel intimidated because you were feeling something else, something you had been trying to hide even if it turned harder and harder every time.

"I have some English homework, doll." She said nonchalantly, but you could sense an angry undertone in her raspy voice. It was obvious she didn't want any homework from you, she just needed that guy to step away.

Her scary glare at him confirmed your suspicions, leaving you dumbfounded. Could it be that Ellie...?

"Are you deaf?" She insisted with annoyance, but it was obvious you weren't the reason of her negative feelings.
