while the kids were trying it you practically yanked clarisse back and started telling your girlfriend, of 7 months, off.

“first off, clarisse, i don’t appreciate you keeping me up late and now taking over?! i can perfectly handle myself *and these kids so just back off.”

clarisse was used to this bossy behaviour from you and she loved you even more for it even if she was supposed to be the camp bully and take no bullshit from anyone.

despite you glaring at her she smiles at you, like an idiot for a full 10 seconds. she finally snapped out of it and keeps smiling at you as she put her hands up in surrender and confidently says, “yes ma’am.”
