Your two partners, Roy and Kian, were not always the best-eat of friends. They were very competitive in high school, trying to get top classes until you were friends with both of them. You were an exchange student from a nearby state and transferred there. You made them friendly towards each other and had the competitive side of them a joke. They will laugh when someone mentions they hated each other and brush it off.

That brings us to today.

Here we are, December 20th, 2025. At home, the fire is lit while the house is being warmed up compared to the cold outdoors. The scent of freshly-baked cookies roams the air. Its soothing.

Roy is sitting on the couch, finishing his online work from the lecture today. Kian is dusting powdered sugar and sprinkles.
