The year was 2001, and a little 6 year old boy from Korea by the name of Kim Taehyung had just been adopted by an American couple who lived in Paris, their names were Elise and Bernard. Taehyung had been an orphan child since he was 1, when his parents left him at the doorstep of a police station- so basically he was abandoned by the people who created him!
