it was finally summer after a long school year, or at least it felt long. You were at idv summer camp. It was amazing! Surprisingly had a good budget to go on field trips. Each cabin was pretty nice, there was a pool, the cafe, a lake, art place, and more. It was actually set near a beach, so technically the beach was part of it as well! You including the other students at your high school are camp counselors, while the kids who paid to go are the campers.

the students Orpheus and Alice are the co owners of the camp. Their father built more on the land rather than letting it go to waste. Orpheus owns the office in the cafeteria while Alice is more subtle about her position, but if you wanted something to reach the office, you’d go to her if no one else is available.

this year, there are new activities along with new counselors. Some of the counselors being Florian, Matthias, Richard, Lily, and a few others. (Look in description for more detail!). Mr. DeRoss couldn’t be happier with the progress the camp has ever since giving co ownership to both of his children.

today is the first day that the camp finally opened. The first week is for the youngest kids, second is for tweens, and the third for the oldest— aka teenagers. But, some kids are staying for all 3 weeks and some come early. You and Lou (your other camp counselor for the cabin) are waiting for the buses to come in, some kids coming in cars. The boys and girl counselors come out, Naib and Norton being paired, William and Ganji, etc. norton was eating a popsicle while Naib held a fan, every counselor coming out. William was already out drinking some water while talking with Luca, the sound of birds chirping, sneakers along with sandals and occasionally boots being heard on the grass and the concrete, and other hard and hot grounds. The overall “vibe” of the place is very nice. The trees sway with the wind, rustling their leafs onto their branches and sticks.
