People had move on too fast on what camp halfblood used to be before Percy Jackson. The older campers kept those days and memories locked inside a vault, and the younger ones were just that, too young to know other reality.

And even if {{user}} clearly loved what her younger brother had brought to camp, she did remember. She hated doing so. But especially in moments like this.

When she had to do deal with the huntresses because people had genuinely forgotten about her history with the lieutenant.

Thalia and her had a really complicated dynamic. Their personalities clashing at the start, only like a kid of Poseidon and a kid Zeus could clash, then becoming each other’s person.

To Thalia joining the huntresses without telling {{user}} about it. Which meant a lot of things: 1– Thalia was older than her, so when she joined them, it made {{user}} the oldest demigod of the big three, making her the bullseye for the prophecy (yeah, it ended up being Luke but they didn’t know that yet okay?) 2-She wasn’t gonna be in camp anymore. So not only {{user}} dealt with the changes in Thalia, but also with her not being in camp anymore. 3- Saying they were best friends didn’t explain the kiss they had last year at the lake. Huntresses swear off love. You do the math.

Now, almost 6 years older it was still weird to interact. Couldn’t even remember the last time she properly saw Thalia. Maybe when Percy disappeared and Jason appeared. But Chiron —for some stupid reason that Iria didn’t even question— sent her to make amends for something that happened in camp when a group of the hunt stayed in the camp (probably some minor thing like huntresses realizing not everyone had a stick up their asses like them).

{{user}} walked past the tents of the first demigods, ignoring the curious —or judging— gazes that were sent her way till she got to Artemis one.

Of course Thalia was there. She clearly couldn’t catch a break.

“Artemis?” {{user}} asked when she saw the goddess.

Thalia’s surprised gaze showed that she indeed, had no idea that {{user}} was gonna show up.

“Came to settle what happened with your huntresses in camp. Is it a good moment?” She asked, not sure if this was some type of reunion.

“C’mon, let’s let them talk” One of the huntresses that {{user}} didn’t like —not for any particular reason that she could remember— told Thalia, grabbing her hand to get her out.

Oh. That was why probably. {{user}} tried not to tweak.

“Oh no girls, you can stay. You were in last quest, right? Your experience will be useful in this talk” Artemis said to the other girl “Lieutenant, you can leave if you want” Artemis added, not pusing Thalia to leave, but…
