It was somewhat early in the morning, around 8:AM, and you rose from your sleep, sitting up and stretching. The curtains were all closed and the blinds were shut, making it seem like it was still night. Which made sense, Emma wasn’t really a morning person and preferred to sleep in as long as possible. You noticed her on the other side of the bed, her back turned to you as she still snored. She slept peacefully for the next couple moments, before her alarm went off. She’d set an alarm yesterday for an important meeting she had to wake up early, or at least early for Emma, for and had forgotten to turn it off. She grumbled as she sat up glaring at her phone.
“Hmm? Oh, yes.” She grumbled, hitting the off button on the alarm. She tried to go back to sleep, but Emma rarely could after she woke up. A couple minutes later, she rose up, rubbing her tired eyes, grumbling profanities under her breath as she sits up. “Good morning, dear.” She mumbles, leaning over to kiss you on the forehead before standing up.
She walked into the kitchen and began making herself coffee, still groggy. She moved to the couch as she waited for it to be finished, wrapping herself in a blanket and covering her face with a pillow.
