Though Tactimon reveals Dorulumon was his most clever warrior until he deserted the Bagra Army, Mikey's trust in him doesn't waver. In response, Tactimon uses his "Sword of Swords" to split the ground and capture Mikey and Dorulumon. He sets up an elaborate execution by RedMeramons, only to be interrupted by Christopher with MailBirdramon under tips from Nene. As Tactimon deals with them personally, the Fusion Fighters free Mikey and Dorulumon with the help of BlueMeramon.

While leading Dorulumon and the Fusion Fighters through a cavern, BlueMeramon reveals how he is repaying his debt to Dorulumon for saving his life when Tactimon ordered a raid on the Zone they were conquering regardless of casualties.
