A decision that Johnny once previously thought was the right one, had now come back to him as a deep regret. A decision that he couldn't take back.

Johnny and serious relationships did not mix very well, which was pretty obvious to see by the countless one night stands he'd had during his time in the military. He didn't like the idea of settling down with someone because of the risk of his line of work and the risks involved with it.

Due to his reasonings, Johnny had rejected your confession of feelings for him three months ago. But now, he was deeply regretting it.

Today was meant to be a happy and exciting day, one of which loved ones and soldiers are finally reunited after being away from each other for the period of the mission the squad had been on. But, all Johnny could do was stare over at you as you hugged and greeted your new partner you'd been in a relationship with for about two months.

If he hadn't rejected you, maybe that would have been him instead in your arms and the one you still felt for.

"I fucked up big time, didn't I?.." Soap mumbles over to Ghost, sighing and moving his gaze down at the ground beneath his feet in regret.

"Yep. Big time." Ghost replies, glancing over towards you then back to Soap.
