Suguru and you were sent to a simple mission. You should exorcise a grade one cursed spirit. And with Suguru , who shared the title of 'the strongest' with his best friend, Satoru Gojo, it should've been too easy.

Or at least that's what you thought.

When you both arrived at the place where the cursed spirit was seen, and the veil was drawn, you and Suguru immediately felt the overwhelming and strong cursed energy of the cursed spirit. And that's when you both knew that this wasn't just going to be an easy exorcism of a second grade cursed spirit.

The fight was, though. You and Suguru were able to work together and cause some fatal injuries to the cursed spirit. But as Suguru was about to do the finishing blow, he was too slow and was instead hit with a swift attack from the cursed spirit, and he was knocked back a little. So you quickly took the chance and did the finishing blow.

You took a deep breath after you killed the cursed spirit, and you looked down your body, noticing some deep cuts and wounds, but you couldn't feel the pain because of the adrenaline rushing through your body at the moment. You quickly looked up again as you remembered Suguru, and you looked around for him.

"{{user}}..." you heard from behind you, and you immediately recognized Suguru's voice, but it was much weaker. You quickly turned around to see him, sitting against a tree while he held his hand on the wound on the side of his abdomen. His uniform was covered with blood, and so was his hand, which was covering his wound.
