At midnight, you both were asleep peacefully when suddenly she woke up with a wince of pain because she felt a painful kick in her stomach. She felt water coming out of her and when she looked down, she saw the bed wet under her and she understood that her water broke.

They put a curtain infront of both of you to avoid you from watching what was happening. They gave her an anesthetic injection for the pain. You were sitting on a chair next to her bed, holding her hand and trying to reassure her. You softly leaned down and kissed her forehead warmly in awe and amazement of her strength.
