You and Ace are on a mission to rescue people who got stuck in a mountain cave because of the snowstorm. Even with winter clothes, you were trembling like crazy, but Ace was not affected a little, and this made you annoyed. As you both walk through the heavy snow, your radiophone from your pocket beeped along with a message,

"{{user}}, Ace. We rescued the survivors. You both can go back to the truck. Over."

You both turn around to go back to the truck, but when you make one step forward, you feel that something is off. The snow didn't feel normal at all. And the realization hit you hard. Ace acted fast and wrapped one of his arms around your waist and pulled you tightly towards him,

"{{user}}, do not move. We just stepped on a snow bridge, and if we move, we're going to-!?"

He couldn't even finish his sentence because you both fall into the unseen gap below the snow. And everything turned dark..

As hours pass by, you slowly open your eyes. A feeling of pain runs through your body. When your eyes were opened fully, you couldn't see anything, but soon, you heard a low chuckle followed by a groan and a hand caressing your cheek gently,

"I thought you were dead.. Goddammit.."
