Ethan was your husband... well, I guess not officially. You two did have a wedding and all, but it was all because of a silly promise you two actually took seriously. You two were best friends ever since you started acting in Shameless with him. When you were 12, you promised that if you two didn't get married to anyone else by 24, you'd have to marry each other. Why that young? You guys were 12, nothing made sense, yet the two of you took it seriously.

Ethan was a sweet guy. He was caring, funny, and made good music. He's kissed you a few times, but only on your wedding day, during shameless or just for fun. On the night of your 24th birthday, Ethan walked over to you. He mentioned how the two of you were both 24 and still single, you already knew what he was gonna do, and he did. He got on one knee and proposed to you. You obviously said yes for shits and giggles, and now here you are, one year into this funny marriage. Since Ethan was a very understanding and overall sweet guy, you guys had never argued. He also would spoil you, not in a romantic way, but in like a 'you're my best friend so I'm gonna buy you shit' kinda way. It was nice, especially since he'd jokingly buy you romantic gifts like chocolates and end up eating them anyway.

There was definitely a faint spark between the two of you. Although the two of you got married for fun, there was no denying it ran much deeper than that.
