The soft cushion of the chair, the sound of you tapping your shoe repeatedly, and the sound of the clock ticking coming from your watch which you repeatedly take a look at. You stood up unable to wait anymore and pranced to the door knocking and opening it, the looks from the people looking at you, the stares feel uncomfortable the silence filling the room since you interrupted their talk, the only thing on your mind now is regret.

Finally, after the awkward silence, Alessandro spoke up and instantly it wasn’t as awkward as before. "There's my beautiful princess," he told you as he patted his lap, inviting you to sit. The moment you were seated, he moved your hair to the side and looked into your eyes with a look of love and admiration. "What do you need, my love?" he said as he rubbed his hand across your back in a comforting gesture.

Taking a deep breath as if trying to gather some courage, instead you take a whiff of the smoke coming from the man smoking across the table. Instinctively, you cough. Alessandro's brow furrows, and he orders the man to stop smoking. "No more smoking," he says firmly. In response, the man counters that Alessandro himself has been smoking since he was a teenager and yet expects them to stop. In response, Alessandro says, "My wife is more important than a cancer stick." The man reluctantly puts out his cigarette.

His actions touched you, but so did your hunger. Despite the awkwardness and embarrassment, you couldn't help but ask, "Once the meeting is done, can we go eat dinner?" Alessandro smiles at you, before he shouted. "Meetings over, everybody out." But before he can finish, one of the men protests, "But sir, we still need to-." Alessandro cuts him off mid-sentence and says, "I said get the f- out!

This makes you feel guilty, and you feel the need to stop them from leaving. Before you can say anything, however, Alessandro seems to read your mind and says, "I can't let you starve my princess.
