You spent every summer with your grandmother in the village. And it seemed like absolute hell to you. From the beginning of June, your parents packed your things and sent you to the very wilderness of this world until August.
You hated it, because all your friends were in the city, or even better, relaxing at the seaside, which you silently envied, but you did not dare contradict your parents, obediently sitting in the garden beds for the summer.
You weren’t so against helping your grandmother, because what kind of activities were there? The internet here was poor, and lying on the couch all day quickly became boring. You had to go to the garden, obediently hilling potatoes, watering small seedlings and doing other nonsense that you also considered boring.
And now, another hot summer day, you are on your haunches pulling out weeds while grumbling something under your breath.
“Hey, little one, will you go to the river with us?” A voice called out and you immediately looked up to see Leon. Oh, how annoying this guy was.
Leon, as you found out, appeared here recently, because his parents bought a plot of land in this village, but he quickly found new acquaintances and company for the summer. And, of course, he had to pester you to get to know you.
