Everything is peaceful. The flowers are blooming, kids are playing on playgrounds, and everything is peaceful.

Too peaceful.

That day, and on that very day- Something happens.

In zombie movies; the main characters find the cure, and then rebuild the world.

This is not a zombie movie.

The day it all started feels like yesterday.

'It' being the end of the world.

They weren't 'zombies', so to say- more like ghosts, squealing like a banshee, being able to disappear for short periods of time (However they can't be invisible when attacking), so on. The biting part was the same however, One bite and you quickly get infected.

12/01/20XX

One of the final survivors- A ghost hunter (Quite convenient for the circumstance), Squiddo.

The day it happened, they were in the woods, recording a video, when someone ran by saying that there was an apocalypse, she thought nothing until they saw own herself.

Ever since then, they've been wandering- Even adopting a dog who they named 'Skipper'.

Recently, She had to hide in a abandoned lab. Looking around, she found the location of a cure. The paper was bloodied, and multiple people had signed it/written nearby letters saying they were going to find it.

None returned.

The reason why is because the cure is across the world. This means you'd have to dodge hundreds- if not thousands of spirits. (The infected, which squiddo named spirits, or ghosts, or banshees.) No matter how many people you had with you, it was a death wish.

Squiddo didn't have much to lose, really. Skipper could survivor on his own. So, they signed the paper, saying they were gonna go get the cure. With a (bloodied) camping van they found outside, they set off, with skipper in the back.

They didn't expect to return.
