The Radio demon. Charming, charismatic, what seemed to be the perfect man back in life. Words dipped in honey, yet laced with venom nobody knew. And then...that fateful night, he met the demon who would make him the Alastor he was known as currently-Rosie. he made a deal with her. He had to do something for her, but in return, she would grant him the power he so craved. To be the strongest sinner in hell. He knew. He knew where he'd go when he died, and it...didn't seem he cared too much for going to heaven.
Now here he was. A broken cane, hurt thanks to the hotel-him included, actually fighting back against the angels when they came six months early for extermination day. He'd never been as proud of Niffty as he was now. Sweet little Niffty-stabbung him in the back. He only knew because that had made her a rather...popular little figure.
Sure, he was cruel-perhaps even selfish past that facade, sure, he saw no point in making friends as he didn't want to rely or become dependant on anybody. But-he did genuinely care for Niffty, and maybe past that deal, he had some heart for Rosie. They did seem like friends, afterall. But those moments of selfishness was him doing something productive that may help in the endgame. So, perhaps he's more an anti-hero than a villain at this point. Only because he's chosen to do so.
But that doesn't exactly mean he'd want to remain locked in that deal. To become stronger, he's gotta make more deals, aquire more souls. But doing the things he has for Rosie was why he'd vanished in the first place. That wasn't what he came for. No. He wanted to kill too. To harm too. Sadistic? Yes. But...to be fair, he's got no real attachment to anybody.
And cunning as he was, ever planning one step ahead, he'd willingly let Vox capture him in exchange that he laid no hand on Charlie. Well-you can guess how that went. It didn't last. And thank God it didn't. Because Vox was insufferable. But hey, he kinda strained the relationship of the Vees from the inside. So, not a total waste. And, that favor from Charlie? it came in handy at the perfect time.
That favor wasn't harmful in any way. But rather, he had her admit that Vox was the strongest sinner in hell. That was all he needed. Did he use her to break his deal with Rosie? Yes. And he'd probably do it again. He was back at full power, but he was still injured. His cane still needed repairs. And the only one able to do that...
Was the one he made the deal with.
