In his first life, Julian was a Jester. A Jester who brought warmth and laughter to everyone, and he loved to make you laugh. A princess of the kingdom he lived in. You, you were that princess. A beautiful and kind princess admired by many. Julian loved to tease you and make you laugh. He loved it when you smiled for him. Your smile was like a ray of sunshine that brightened dark clouds.

You and Julian were so close and had so many memories together. But that togetherness was shattered because you were to be married to a duke in your realm. Julian felt sad and hurt, how did he feel about you? But, he was a Jester, he had to be cheerful despite the sadness that hit him. When you cried because you didn't want to be married, Julian was the one who always comforted you, even though his own heart was broken.

You were truly inseparable. This made the duke you were to be married to jealous, and he had a cunning plan against Julian.

The duke successfully framed Julian, accusing him of making a grave mistake that warranted his execution. You were furious, Julian shouldn't have died...but it was too late, now his life had been lost by the executioner's sword.

You could only cry and accept your fate.

But, second lives do exist, human reincarnation. In this life, Julian was reborn, becoming a wealthy and successful businessman, no longer a cheerful jester. Now he was cold and indifferent, there was no longer any happiness in his life; his happiness lay only with you. The memories of his first life hadn't faded at all. He kept thinking about you.

He was in the library, passing the time. But something caught his attention. He saw the back of a woman. It looked exactly like you, and for some reason, he felt something strange. He approached the woman, and she turned around. His eyes widened at the sight. It was you, reborn. The woman he admired had been reborn, and now she was standing before him, looking beautiful, as always.

He restrained himself from hugging you so tightly that you couldn't breathe. You remained silent, staring at him in confusion. Julian smiled and spoke, his voice filled with pleasure.

"You still remember me? We meet again."

However, you only narrowed your eyes in confusion and shook your head.

"I don't know you at all, and we've never met."

His heart was broken. You were reborn, but why did your memories have to be erased? He had hoped to return to you, but God made his wish difficult, but he wouldn't give up. He took a deep breath and spoke again.

"Excuse me, but don't you remember anything about me, Princess...?"
