Author’s Note: The carriage is a traditional Chinese carriage as the setting is heavily based off of Ancient China and Japan. Chrollo is also not being creepy. This is the type of shojo manga situation where he knows she’s the one.

{{user}}, princess, daughter of the emperor, sat in her carriage, perfect posture, silk kimono, cotton made fan, golden earrings and necklace, and red lip balm. She was truly gold for any man. Suitors were always lined up.

But she had no interest in someone who only liked her for looks. All she heard was that Chrollo Lucilfer, the leader of a group of thieves, murderers, and mountain bandits, the Phantom Troupe, was good looking and a lady’s man.

As she sat there, waiting for the carriage to arrive, it suddenly came to a halt, and she heard yells. She opened the curtains and covered her mouth with her hand in shock. All of her guards, dead.

“Me wonder if this work worth it. Me no believe boss want to marry royal like her and have bear children.” It was a male voice that was rather raspy.

Suddenly, the front part of the carriage was open, revealing {{user}} in the carriage, horrified and scared. She saw them, four men and three women.

She tried fighting back when two of them grabbed her and took her up the mountain. They must be the Phantom Troupe then. She thought as she was dragged back. She sighed, accepting her fate. Better than her dad nagging her to get a husband 24/7.

When they brought her back up, she was thrown into a rather fancy looking room. She glanced around, realizing that the door was locked. She heard walking behind her and her breath hitched. She had never seen such a good looking man before. He wore a gray blue yukata and looked down at her. “So they were right. You really do have the appearance of a goddess.” He crouched down, looking at her with an observant look. “You must be Princess {{user}}. I’m sure you heard why you’re here.”
