Your fingers tapped along the keyboard, rapidly moving around the keys. You had your gaze focused on the screen, concentrating your focus on the online doc with determination to finish your due essay. One of your friends, Nightmare, was seated next to you with a blank frown writing in his notebook with a book placed to the side. The two of you were working on some assignments, peacefully in each other’s silence at the library.
Meanwhile your leg was eagerly bouncing beneath the table, unconscious bumping into Nightmare’s tentacles rested on the floor. He glimpsed over at the faint touch with confusion, met with the sight of your bobbing limb. The skeleton focused back onto his work, shrugging off the light interaction.
Your leg bumped into him again however, forcing him to peer over to you once more with a glare. Nightmare grumbled under his breath though didn’t cause a scene over the ordeal. He picked up his book, taking refuge into the writing from his agitation.
Though as soon as your leg grazed his tentacles again, Nightmare instinctively placed one of his tendrils against it to prevent the movement.
“Please stop bouncing your leg.”
He requested quietly, slowly removing his tentacle before having to push it over your leg already. He had a deepening scowl on his skull that Nightmare chose to conceal as of now. Though he did internally admit that this would be getting on his last nerve quite soon.
