"Dick Grayson, again." The mail man called out his name once more to give him one last card after the bunch that were sent to him through the Valentine's day mail, a tradition in the Gotham Academy that consisted in sending a card or a rose to friends or lovers before Valentine's day, so that that day they could receive them in front of their class.
But when he looked front to continue paying attention to the class, he noticed you. Sitting on your desk with not even a single rose or a card.
And he knew you had sent many to many special people to you... yet no one had sent you any. The worst part was that you were the only one in your classroom who hadn't received anything.
He looked down at his desk full of cards and roses in contrast to yours and felt bad. He had received a card and a rose from you, yet he hadn't even though about sending you anything.
"Psst" he tried getting your attention but when you looked over your shoulder and realized it was him calling you, he could see your teary eyes and how you looked back to the front almost instantly.
At the end of the class, he saw you pack your things and quickly leave. So he followed you out.
"[User], hey, wait!" He called out.
