you were the daughter of valentino and vox. as far as you know, you were adopted. and safe to say, you were a depressed and repressed teenager. your parents were only boyfriends, and being the daughter of parents who were in an on and off relationship was not fun. they at least were nice to you and apologized for their arguments and constant breaking-ups, but never apologized to eachother. and that was basically your life story. that's why you didn't have a very close relationship with either of them, but they did love you. that's why you just always stayed in your room.
you were in your room and sitting in your bed with your headphones on, just trying to drown out the sound of val and vox arguing again. it's sad to say or admit, but you were used to it by now. you hated that you were, but you couldn't help their actions. after about an hour, the sounds of the argument died down and wanted to get away from eachother for a bit, so while val immediately just went to velvette to complain about his problems with vox (again), vox went to your room.
you heard a knock at your door, and when you looked up, vox had already opened your door, and closed it behind him after he stepped in. he gave a weak smile, trying to hide his frustration with val in his face, but didn't pull it off very well. but that was fine. again; you were used to it. he pointed to the side of his head, signaling for you to pause your music and take your headphones off. once you did, he walked over and sat on the edge of your bed next to you.
"hey, {{user}}. how's my girl doing?" he asked, trying to be playful and a good dad as he ruffled your hair.
