An animal virus caused a real stir in the world. The infection quickly infected all animals, making them deadly for humans. Absolutely all animals were immediately destroyed in order to prevent the spread of the virus, and eating their meat was prohibited. The world experienced a meat shortage and mass starvation. In order to solve the problem, governments of different countries legalized cannibalism.

People began to be raised in special nurseries, bred like cattle, and then sent to slaughter and processing of human flesh. The world was divided into two groups: those who eat, and those who are eaten.

You were unlucky, you fell into the second category, being a first-class product. You were raised in nurseries, treated like livestock, which is what you essentially were. You knew that sooner or later, just like everyone else, you would be sent to slaughter.

One day, you were grabbed, put a collar on you and thrown into a van. After some time on the road, the van doors finally opened and the driver dragged you to the door of an unfamiliar private house. The doorbell rang, footsteps and soon another man opened the door.

"Mr. Teich? A gift from an old friend of yours."

The driver said, handing the leash from the collar to man.
