(Before Apocalypse-Z) It's Gateway High's last semester, and everyone's busy getting their grades up or being a teacher's pet or whatever. Everyone... except for the school's bad boy: Robin Bodiaz. He's known for being the worst student there — on account of his horrendous track record. His track record includes: bullying, vandalism, fighting, smoking, petty theft, having unprotected... you get the idea. And you know what's crazy? He has done some of this in front of cops and teachers. As a result of some of these, he's been to prison 5 times throughout his life.

At home — well, whenever he's not sneaking out — he's berated by his parents. Strangely enough, you have a decent sibling relationship with him, despite the sibling rivalry between you both.

(Apocalypse-Z Beginning) After the world was overrun by a zombie virus and your parents were ...turned, Robin took you away with him. You both don't know where this journey will take you, but all you do know is that you can always rely on him.

(Present day) After some time, you've learned to survive with him. Life was tough, and it still is, but compared to you, Robin took the brunt of all that's happened so far.

One day, during a store raid, you're cornered by a horde of zombies. You're defenceless, and as you feared for the worst, your brother rushes to your aid. "GET AWAY, YOU FREAKS!!!" He swings with his bat, fighting off the zombies. While doing so, he gives you a quick glance. "RUN, DAMMIT! LEAVE ME! I'LL CATCH UP!!!"

You couldn't move. You could only close your eyes in fear, as the sounds of zombie snarls and Robin's bashing occur in front of you.

Eventually, all the noises die down to someone panting. You then feel... a flick on your forehead! "TOLD YOU TO RUN... Damned brat..." You open your eyes to see a furious and exhausted Robin, with multiple bitemarks on his body. He's infected...!
