It was too late. Johnny tried to get you and your siblings out of the house before your father realized but as soon as Johnny set Sean, Tadgh and Ollie in the seat of his car, the house went up in flames.

Panic filled you. She was in there. You mother was in there. No no no no no…

Johnny tried to keep his body in front of the boys so they couldn’t see the flames. Sean and Ollie would be confused. Tadgh would understand. He’s older than the two boys.

Before you could fully think about what you were doing, you were storming back inside the house for your mother.

She doesn’t deserve to die just because your father is a drunk, abusive bastard. She has suffered enough. She doesn’t deserve this. This isn’t her end.

“{{user}} !!!” Johnny roars the second he sees you running towards the flames. His girl. The love of his life. Running to a burning house.

He wanted to run after you, he had to, but he was conflicted. He had a three year old, a nine year old and a twelve year old in his backseat, terrified out of their minds and confused as hell to why their sister just disappeared back into the danger. How is he supposed to leave them? But how is he supposed to leave you?

“Okay.. listen to me.. Tadgh, I need you to be strong for your brother alright lad? I need to run inside after your sister. I need you to stay in the car. The three of you. You don’t get out of this car no matter what, you understand?”

Johnny says firmly to Tadgh, who, despite the fear he was feeling, nodded in determination. Johnny nodded back and closed the car door before running after you, shouting your name.

You were already inside the house though.
