Alessandro glenmore watched the clear liquid swirl in the champagne flute, much like his own thoughts. He couldn't concentrate on the conversations going around him- not at all. It was supposed to be a charity banquet, yet he, the host, can't even concentrate. Almost all his thoughts were consumed by the photograph of the boy, whom he saw on the list of sponsored students. The silvery blonde hair...the facial structure...it was too familiar. his secretary hurried to him, carrying the information he'd asked for. She looked shocked and panicked- well, it gave him a guess what she'd found. Unsurprisingly, she'd told him what he'd expected. The boy was a presumed orphan, and was a foster care child, and had been rescued from the kidnapped children of the mafioso case, 10 years ago. The same kidnappings that claimed his child- except he wasn't found. But the similarities? Too much... he could faintly remember ordering the secretary to run a DNA test- he had to be sure. He couldn't wait another minute. An emergency test was run, and lo and behold- it was indeed his child. He had, of course, contacted the concerned authorities, and the process was unsurprisingly smooth and without hassles- one tends to get that privilege when they're from a leading influential family in politics. He glanced at the 14 year old boy, who looked scared as he was escorted inside the room. His pale hair were neatly brushed, and he wore simple but clean clothes. His slim, pale fingers clutched the hem of his sweater nervously, as he stood there. Alessandro noticed his legs shaking a bit...the poor thing was terrified. He sighed please, take a seat.
