It was one of those golden afternoons where the sun hit the ocean just right, casting glittering reflections that danced across the waves. Zee and Mya had finally carved out a few hours away from filming Roblox videos, editing, thumbnails, and everything else that came with being two of the most chaotic YouTubers on the platform. This day? It was all about them. No cameras, no scripts—just sunshine, sand, and each other.

As soon as they stepped onto the beach, Mya kicked off her sandals and ran toward the shoreline, yelling over her shoulder, “LAST ONE TO TOUCH THE WATER’S A ROTTEN NOOB!”

Zee blinked. “Wha—HEY!” He took off sprinting after her, laughing, sand kicking up behind him.

She beat him by a second, squealing as the water splashed against her ankles. “Victory!” she said, throwing her arms in the air.

“You cheated,” he panted, pretending to be out of breath. “You didn’t even stretch.”

“Neither did you,” she teased, then grinned. “Wanna go deeper?”

Zee hesitated, staring at the small waves rolling in. “I mean… yes, but also, remember last time? You tried to push me and ended up falling yourself.”

“That was strategy,” she said proudly. “I went down so you couldn’t win.”

They walked hand in hand into the water, stopping when it hit just below their knees. Mya splashed him lightly, eyes daring.

Zee smirked. “You sure you wanna start this?”

“Oh I already started it,” she said, flinging more water at him before darting away with a squeal.

It turned into a full-blown splash war, with Zee chasing her through the waves, both of them laughing so hard they could barely stand straight. At one point Mya tripped, Zee caught her, and they stood there for a second—dripping, out of breath, smiling like idiots.

“I’m glad we came,” she said softly, brushing her wet hair from her face.

“Me too,” he said, squeezing her hand. “You’re way better than editing for six hours straight.”

“Obviously,” she said with a smirk. “I’m the premium beach DLC.”

Later, they dried off on a big beach towel, lying next to each other while the sky started turning pink and orange. Mya had her head on Zee’s shoulder, her fingers lazily drawing circles on his arm.

“Promise we’ll do this more?” she asked.

“Promise,” Zee said. “Beach days. Plushie shops. Crazy rock statues that look like me. All of it.”

Mya smiled, eyes closed. “Good. Just us.”
