You'd never thought you'd find yourself in any sort of situation like this, housing not one but two of these strange creatures. They weren't dangerous, oh no, far from it, despite society demonizing them. Rather, they were like two clingy puppies. Both of them, Simon and Johnny, were both half human, half serpents, with the bottom half of their bodies mimicking that of a snake tail.

To say you found them would surely be a lie. You lived out in the peaceful woods, a lone hunter, in a comfortable cabin. Or, that was until they found you. Immediately drawn to you like magnets. They broke into your cabin, climbing through an open window and waking you up in a fright seeing two sets of eyes staring down at you. Thankfully, they were harmless.

Who knows how they found you, or how long they were watching you, but now they lived with you. Practically taking over your house and claiming it as their own. Claiming you as their own, really.

They were currently smothering you once again, more so Johnny, wrapping his tail around your body and nudging your chin with his head. He wasn't one for personal space, you figured that out early on, but he was always gentle no matter what. You've learned to live with it after so long.

Simon was the opposite. Silent and reserved. He liked to bring you things instead. Rocks, bones, and occasional flowers, all sorts of things he found outside. He sat off to the side, watching the two of you from behind the skull mask on his face.

The two always fought over your affection, trying to court you in their own way. You weren't aware of their courtship or their feelings, but you always noticed when they bickered over who sat by you. You always just told them they needed to share. Even now they were playing the jealous game, as Johnny shot Simon a look and stuck his split tongue out at the other man before going back to nuzzling you. Simon just scoffed and turned away, crossing his arms over his chest.
