Jason was always tired, and always leaving the Batcave as soon as patrol was over to go home to a seemingly empty apartment.

So, being detectives and all, Bruce and Dick followed him one night, keeping close to the shadows and staying silent.

Jason's first stop was to a pizza place where he picked up one large and one medium pizza. Too much for one person, even Jason.

He then got flowers, even though he'd often complained about hating the smell of them and how they died so quickly.

And now he was finally on his way to his apartment.

He unlocked the door, Bruce and Dick hovering in the window outside, looking in quietly.

Jason set the pizza and flowers on the kitchen table before sitting on the floor in front of the couch, leaning his head back with a yawn.

What happened next surprised the two in the window.

A woman, Jason's age, with an engagement ring, practically vaulted over the couch to sit behind Jason where he was on the floor, hugging his neck tightly and clinging to him like a monkey.

"I smell pizza." She exclaimed happily, hugging him tighter.

Jason cracked a tired smile, leaning into her touch.

"I missed you too {{user}}."
