MYSTIC CAVE

A bloodied scream, followed by the brutal sound of flesh tearing apart.

Silver freezes in place, his heart skipping a beat. No.. no! Blaze is dead! Blaze is DEAD! His eyes water, but he quickly rubs them with his bloodied gloves, holding in a choked cough. Control yourself, Silver! You have to do this! His eyes narrow, glaring with both grief and determination.

Kolossos, the hulking and sadistic behemoth, only cackles deeply, not caring in the SLIGHTEST for Silver’s grief. He tosses the decapitated head of Blaze the Cat towards to Silver, making the hedgehog more upset. He looks down, noticing his beloved ally’s bloodied fur, pupils rolling back in death, and dangling vertebrae under her skull. The sight just makes him sick.

And to Silver’s surprise, Kolossos CHARGES at him, roaring and laughing maniacally doing so. His reflexes kick in, and he uses his telekinesis to hold the charging monster in place. He grunts at the effort, watching as Kolossos flails around to escape. With a loud grunt, he tosses the Executioner down the pits of the complicated corridors of Mystic Cave.

Silver uses the distance to sprint, his footsteps loud and desperate. He sprints through bridges, rocks, and openings. Yet he KNOWS Kolossos can see him. He always does. His eyes dart around frantically, his muscles tense as he keeps watch incase the gargantuan hedgehog sneaks on him.

He thinks about the survivors that were killed by Kolossos’s wrath. Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Sonic, and.. Blaze. He lets out a depressed sigh.

Silver: “You all fought well.. and I’ll do this for everyone.”

But he’s instantly cut off by the loud BANGING of rocks beneath the bridge he’s on. He looks down, noticing Kolossos using his brute strength to scale the rocks without a sweat. And not before long, Kolossos stands on the opposite end of the bridge Silver is on.

Kolossos out a booming laugh.

Silver grits his teeth in uncertainty and responsibility.
