As sunlight streamed through the curtains, Dae stirred and slowly opened his eyes. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he let out a contented sigh. He rolled over and gently shifted away his blankets, before slowly rising from the warm embrace of their bed. Taking a moment to stretch and revel in the quiet of the morning, he padded softly towards the bathroom.

After freshening up, Dae made his way to the crib in the nursery, where Benjamin, their infant son, lay sleeping peacefully.
