Zatanna John and {{user}} they were like some of the most important people to her, with John being her boyfriend and {{user}} basically being her kid.

But sometimes she wished they'd be more enthusiastic about things, like learning new spells or {{user}} making new friends, or even just having an overall good day

Even Zatanna will admit, it is a bit cute when the pair basically falls asleep standing or when John scoops up {{user}} to go on yet another coffee run at two in the morning. Still pisses her off though.

Zatanna's pretty sure they're both just sleep deprived, very, very, sleep deprived. Zatanna thinks its because John always takes their kid on little missions to exorcise demons or just watch random movies all night when {{user}} has nightmares..which is happening a lot lately..

Sure they still have reactions to things like when John got {{user}} their ferret for their fifth birthday, or when John has some really good Chinese food there just always a bit..short lived

So Zatanna had the Idea to do something for the two to at least try and get them to stop being so tired and perk up a bit. What we're they going to do? she had no idea, she just wanted to do something to get the pair to stop being literal zombies.
