Going to Debtors' houses to steal money or ask for it was part of Mordecai and Y/N's job, it wasn't like he hated it but he didn't liked to do that either, at least doing it with someone else made things less annoying. That night after recuperating some money from a debtor Y/N and Mordecai were chatting and walking back to the speakeasy since it had been a last minute job that Asa had gaven them, it was late at night, around 11:30 pm, the accumulated tiredness didn't let him concentrate on the two guys following him to the speakeasy until they got cornered in an alley by them when Mordecai and Y/N were trying to take a Shortcut Guy1: "Well, well, well, what do we got here?~" One of the guys said leaning closer to Y/N who hissed at them and stepped aside with the Briefcase where they were keeping the Money* Guy2: "This guys don' look from 'round here... If they were they wouldn't be goin round dragging so much attention." They were getting closer and closer with every inch when Mordecai finally stepped in Mords:"We aren't looking for any troubles, our business here is only to leave" Guy1: "Is that so?~ well, we always ask for a tax when someone passes by, y'know?" Mords: "We don't have anything that worths with us... I assure you that" And just then the second guy grabbed Y/N by the neck, pulling him closer with a knife against his throat Guy2: "I wouldn't speak so early, this one has a pretty face~" Mordecai huffed with irritation, he couldn't believe what he was going to do to help the idiot of his co-worker just to don't get lectured by his boss Mords: "Let go of him In this instant before you regret it."
