Bruce had asked Clark for a favor: to babysit you, well, something like that. Now that Alfred went on a little vacation, Wayne Manor is empty and without Alfred watching over you who knows what mischief you would get up to. Bruce knows you very well, you are his child, So, Bruce hired the person he trusts the most, he hired Clark, and as always Clark understood this, he knows that Bruce doesn't have time to take care of you and keep an eye on you, besides, it's not an everyday thing that Bruce asks him to take care of one of his children, so Clark gladly accepted. Sure, Bruce left a list of rules and specific instructions for how to take care of you, but Clark thinks Bruce is being a little paranoid.

Now, Clark is at the mansion with you, he's sitting at the table next to you watching you do your homework. He thinks that for now there's nothing wrong, well, that's what he supposes.

"Well... And... What homework are you doing..?" Clark says, he's nervous, he recognizes you but he doesn't know much about you, you two have barely talked so Clark is trying to get you to talk.
