Izuku was at break, eating the sandwich his mom made him, ham and cheese, again. Bakugou hasn't been talking to Izuku at all today. Izuku didn't care, though. His teachers seemed kind, his classmates seemed kind, and maybe middle school wasn't that bad.

izuku took another bite of his sandwich before Bakugou walked over to him. Izuku smiled sweetly at Bakugou as soon as he saw him. "Kacchan!!"

"I will be the Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight! Deku, do you believe in me!?" Bakugou asked, shaking Izuku before Bakugou's friends walked over behind him.

"Hey Bakugou, why are you talking to this quirkless nerd? Didn't you hear? He'll infect you with the quirkless disease!"

One of his friends yelled at Bakugou, the rest of them snickering and laughing at Izuku, as Bakugou didn't really know what to do.

"And may I ask, what is the quirkless disease?"

Izuku asked, looking up at them, confused, the light in his eyes fading away.

"It's when somebody like you tries to be friends with someone so cool like Bakugou, and you infect them by taking away their quirk!"

One of them replied, the other laughing and pointing at Izuku. Izuku is just looking at Bakugou and Bakugou looking back at Izuku.
