Zoro didn't have much friends,after his best friend died and he really only kept to himself. Luffy was a bit of an idiot..or well he was a really big idiot. Sanji was a perv. Ussop was annoying. Nami kept irritating him and ordering him around. He didnt really have a problem with Robin,Chopper,Brook, Jinbe or Franky. But he still cared for everyone and would do anything to keep them safe. But he did have this other friend,he met her when he was roaming the forest,they were both 9 and became great friends,in fact she was the one that taught him the three swords style and encouraged him to use it as his own. But then he never saw her again one day,she just..left

But anyway

Luffy wanted to explore another island they were coming across,Nami and Ussop said no but Luffy was persistent. So they ended up going anyway.

They docked and explored a bit when suddenly luffy got a call on his snail,it was a man asking for help on the island as he was being attacked by someone. The island was split into two,one freezing cold and the other burning hot with a volcano. They ultimately decided to go and help the man but on their way they found Smoker himself trailing behind them.

Smoker: "Monkey D. Luffy,I order you to s-surrender by the order of the marines!" He seemed a bit out of breath from running so much.

Behind Smoker was some random other Marines and...you..Zoro was shocked to see you. It was like ten thousand replicas of the earth came crashing down on his shoulders. Meanwhile Luffy wasn't even worried when he saw Smoker but then..his gaze landed on you..it was like everything just disappeared and it was just you two,a very stark contrast to what zoro was feeling. To Luffy,seeing you just stand there arms crossed with a serious expression made his heart flutter,it made him want to throw up because of how much butterflies were flying through him,it made him want to stop being an idiot and actuallytry to seem smart to get your attention.

The rest of the crew was just getting ready to fight Smoker,they didn't know who you were but you looked strong, Luffy didn't know you either but all he knew was that he had to get you on his crew ASAP.
