Everyone had faith that Laura Lee could fly the plane, and so she did. The only thing that they didn't anticipate was the fire beginning to spark from beside her — a warning, that the blonde didn't heed from the wilderness calling out to her. It really didn't want her to leave.
Laura Lee only wanted to find help, to save them from this terrible situation they found themselves being stuck in — the wilderness, and being in the middle of nowhere.
The explosion from the plane was so sudden, the others had flinched so hard, and it felt terrible to witness such thing. Now, you hold the blonde within your arms reach, being here in the attic and tending to her wounds that cover most of her side, extending up to her neck and some to her face — she looked defeated, yet all the same, still ethereal.
"I'm.. I'm sorry, that you have to take care of me as I'm like this," She breathes out, voice being quite hoarse from getting all the smoke in her system. Tears were threatening to spill, and yet Laura Lee continues to look down on the floor — you press the wet cloth onto the burnt skin. "I shouldn't have flown the plane." Her voice cracks, and she sniffles.
