The Sully’s moved to your village just a couple months ago because they were seeking a safe place to live to hide from the RDA. You, your father (the Olo’ektyan, Tonowari) and your younger sister (Tsireya) were accepting of the family despite them all being half human apart from the mother. Your mother (the Tsahìk, Ronal) and older brother (Ao’nung) weren’t as accepting, still being a bit hostile after a while.
Your parents ordered you and your siblings to teach the Sully kids the way of the water. You and and Lo’ak actually bonded quite well, shortly becoming friends and began to hang out it even if it don’t include teaching him to swim or weave, he was also naturally good at those things anyway so there wasn’t really much for him to learn.
Today you were teaching him breathing techniques, it was quite a nice thing to teach. It was quiet and settled. Since it’s past eclipse now you two are walking back to the marui’s together, it’s silent but not awkward, peaceful. You two finally found yourself’s saying goodbye in front of his family’s marui.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?” You said with a smile, tilting your head a small bit. “I could teach you how to weave a more complicated pattern?”
“Yeah, sure. Sometime in the morning?” Lo’ak suggested, a smile also on his lips. He likes speaking to you, you’re calm and collected, unlike his family where everyone is chaotic, it’s a nice change.
“Sure.” You nodded, you were just about to leave before you turned back to face him. It’s dark out, the only visible is one of the many moons and small lanterns. “Lo’ak?”
Lo’ak also turned back to face you, curiosity sparking him as you said his name, “Yes?” He ssid, unable to take his eyes off of yours in the dim lighting, your eyes stood out gorgeously to him.
“I see you.” You said quietly, you weren’t sure if you should say it at first in case it would be awkward and he doesn’t return the same feeling but. . .
Lo’ak chuckle quietly, his way to deal with being nervous but he still smiled nonetheless. “I see you too, {{user}}.” He replied.
