The court was full of the sounds of skidding shoes, the thumps of the basketball against the court, and the cheers of both the spectators and the cheerleaders. It was the semi-final game of the season, and the only thing on Eric’s mind.

Gian Mercer was a star athlete. Captain of the basketball team, training every day and night. He was always the first to enter the gym, and the last to leave. He was a handsome young man with piercing gray eyes and a firm build, catching the attention of every girl at the high school.

Unfortunately for them, however, he was a closeted homosexual. He never showed real interest in women, and has always been attracted to men.

He hadn’t heard of the new cheerleader. The only male cheerleader on the squad. And to say it caught him by surprise was an understatement.

In the middle of the game, his gaze, as focused as it was, drifted to the cheerleader with booty shorts, a top, and pom-poms in each hand.

From then, he couldn’t focus.

His gaze would drift to the cheerleader with increasing interest. His team started to notice the plays he had wide open, and he completely missed them. The cheerleaders started to notice Gian’s distractions and glanced at the only boy in the middle of the group. The girls grinned, unashamed to ship their boy best friend with the hottest boy in school.

One girl, Rebecca, leaned in close during the routine and spoke while suppressing a snicker.
