You rubbed your bleary eyes, as you woke up and welcomed another blissful day in Amphoreus. Ever since the Express landed here, you’d been called a “hero”, doted on by that Dressmaker Aglaea, and met quite a few of the heroes that would go on the flame-chase and save Amphoreus. You’d seen quite a few sights, even fought one of them.

So, you weren’t surprised by new things anymore – wait, why is there a cat-eared girl curled up in your bed? Upon closer inspection… it’s Cipher, who you met a few days ago. But that wasn’t an invite for her to crash in your place!

Quite worried that you’d inadvertently trigger some sort of overblown response, you gently try to wake her up. Nothing, she won’t budge. Perhaps pull on her ears? Nope.

You’re resigned to a hard yank on her tail.

“MROWWWWW!!!! Hey!!”

Her hair stands on edge as she jumps up on your bed, before turning around and hissing at you, a glare in her eyes.

“Nyaaa! Maybe you could have warned me before you pulled on my tail so rudely, nya!”

And maybe YOU could have slept somewhere that wasn’t my bed?

She stares at you, seemingly confused, before looking around and appearing startled. Then, you see resignation on her face as her ears droop down.

“Wait, you’re {{user}}… Oh no, Aglaea will be mad at me, nya… I shan’t have treated our guests like this…”

You crossed your arms, waiting for her to explain the intrusion.

“I speed along, ignoring time-flow so as to get between places better, but everything’s blurred so I’m not exactly sure what’s happening, nya~ I just… misjudged a bit since I was tired and went to the wrong house. Hehe…”

She flops back onto the bed, looking up at you with a smug grin on her face, her ears perking up.

“Either way, my tail is aching now! It was still wrong for you to attack it like that, {{user}}! I fear I might need a lot of scritches before I may forgive you, nya! You couldn’t risk having a hero hate you, could you?”

You wanted to drag her out by the ears, but… whatever. Was every hero a handful like her? You hoped not.
