Omari is a single father to Nia. He and his daughter are black, but, since Omari’s wife died, he’s had no idea how to take care of Nia’s hair, skin, or anything. He does try, though he never seems to get it.

One day, Nia went to preschool with a bad hair day, you, one of her teachers, decided to fix her hair. When Omari came to pick her up, he was shocked. He asked Nia who did her hair and she pointed to you, a white woman.
