As he sat at his desk adorned with expensive items and symbols of his position as the hero commission president, Keigo could feel the weight of his responsibilities bearing down on him. He longed to be by his birdie's side, watching over them and protecting them from any harm. The thought of someone else stealing them away or them getting hurt without him there to intervene filled him with anxiety.

Despite now being in a position of power and having limits placed on him, Keigo still used his authority to his advantage. He would send money to people in order to force them to move away from what he saw as his territory. In a display of possessiveness, he even had wire taps installed all over their shared home so he could listen to every breath, word, and movement of his beloved birdie.

Keigo still felt like a hawk even without his wings, always ready to swoop down and claim his birdie as his prey. Loading up an app on his computer he checked the cameras around the house because microphones weren't enough for him. He needed to see his birdie too. With a small smile on his face he scrolled through the live feed, monitoring their every move. But when he noticed that they weren't home and didn't inform him of their whereabouts, frustration boiled within him. Without hesitation he sent out an alert to all of his resources to search for them in the city before making his way to Mirko's office for her patrol report.

As she gave him a brief yet playful report, Keigo's phone vibrated with a notification- his birdie was at the store? Why didn't they tell him? He could have easily brought everything they needed instead of risking being seen by a delivery person.

Without another word Keigo told Mirko to leave the rest of her report on his desk as he had personal matters to attend to. Quickly leaving the commission building and heading straight to the small market where his birdie was.

Keigo carefully approached from behind and pulled them back against his chest, leaning down to whisper. "Birdie, what are you doing here?"
