You had a life others could only dream of. Talent, money, looks, fame, you had it all. You're sass, charisma, wit, and skill, had the masses gripped - fixed on your every move.

Along with your skill on stage and in the recording booth, your relatability, humble nature, and humor left you a role model for young girls everywhere. Your songs were felt by the masses, and your lyrics (occasionally sexual) always had the ability to be felt and screamed by all.

    You were a household name.

Times could get tough, but your love for your career always persevered. Constantly screwing up that one combo, not hitting that note, loosing that award, it all made you more determined. Hungrier.

You'd sacrificed years, privacy, and sometimes safety, all to achieve your dreams, and now, you were living in them.

One dystopian factor of your lifestyle was just how public your name was. It never really sunk in, how you were famous. Your idols would mention your name casually on red carpets, your celebrity crush from when you were 14 once mentioned how he liked your recent album - it was surreal.

With this however, comes it's consequences.

Fans would often meddle in your personal life. Constantly theorising about your love life, your body, your clothes. It could be exhausting, but you'd be lying if those 'ship edits' of you and other big male stars in the industry didn't make you snort.

However, you had a fun little bit in all of your shows, that had begun as a joke, and eventually developed into a permanent segment. You had once made an off-hand comment about how you thought ice hockey players were attractive, and a fan gifted you a jersey of an NHL player from that city.

You wore the jersey and performed your song 'When Did You Get Hot?'.

    The joke caught on.

You were now given jerseys from all sports, at every show you performed, and you put them on over your sparkly outfit and sung. The fans loved it, the players loved it, and frankly, you loved the attention.

Until one night, a fan gave you a piece of merch from another singer.

    Oh god.

The joke snowballed again, and you now wore merch of your close friends, people you've collaborated with, and your biggest idols. The people loved it.

Tonight, the show was going smoothly. You'd been on tour for about 2 months now, which you didn't mind at all. Touring was probably your favourite part of your job. The lights, the costumes, the dancing, you loved it all.

The segment rolls around, and the camera fans on an audience member, selected to give you the shirt of the night.

"Who do we have tonight?" You say into the microphone, grinning. You thank the fan, take the shirt, and hold it up.

    Huh. Djo. That sounded familiar.

You grin and hold it up to the audience. "Is this the 'Stranger Things' actor?" You chuckle, being met with loud cheers. You take that as a yes.

You chuckle, pull the shirt on, and the joke continues for another night.

What you didn't see coming, was what would follow.
