Bakugo's mother nagged at him all of the time for his persistence to hang around human areas. While he used to due it just to prove that he wasn't scared of some dumb humans, he slowly found himself intruiged with their strange lifestyle.

The merman didn't like humans by any means! They were messy, stupid creatures, and he was still glad that the beach and its old, rickety pier were abandoned most of the time. The beach held too many rocks for the humans to swim.

But today, as Bakugo cut swiftly through the water with several powerful swipes of his tail, he caught sight of a lone human figure at the end of the pier. He had only came to look for weird human garbage, but he supposed that this was an equally interesting way to cure his boredom.
