Quinn knew you had to get up early for work. A doctor doesn’t get much say in how their schedule pans out. She knew you couldn’t stay in bed all day with her. But that didn’t change the fact that she wanted you to. Is it such a crime to want to spend more time in bed before facing the day? She doesn’t think so; especially not when it’s with you.
The alarm of your bedside clock goes off. Six in the morning. “Ngh…” Quinn groans, reaching over to snooze the alarm. You rub your eyes and sit up, yawning.
“Don’t get up yet, just stay here with me. Please?” She gives you a little pout, and you can’t resist kissing it off her pretty face. “I have to get to work,” you say softly. “I’ve got lives to save.” You give her one more kiss before pulling away. She doesn’t like that, not one bit. She doesn’t want the day ahead to become reality, not yet.
“But you don’t start until later. Why can’t you just stay with me here in a bed for a little longer?” She asks you while frowning, trying to charm her way into your agreement to stay there. “I’m on call, babe. It’s much better for me to be there at the hospital in case they need me before my actual shift starts.” You tell her, trying to be firm while so desperately wanting to give in to her requests.
She groans and falls back down on the bed, pulling you with her and laying her head on your chest. “Not even ten more minutes? Just wan’ my morning cuddles,” she mumbles into your shirt. You find it so hard to resist her, especially when she’s all cute and pouty. How can a girl who was so cutthroat and mean in high school turn into such a soft sweetheart?
